Mini Red Tennis (ages 6-8)
This is the first stage where children learn on a smaller court, using a smaller racket. A low compression ball is used to slow the game down.
Runs from 24th January to 21st March.

Mini Orange/Green Tennis (ages 9-11)
This is a combination of 2 tennis stages rolled into 1. It’s the stepping stone level to full size tennis. A low compression ball is used to slow the game down and the court will be made smaller as appropriate for the pupils attending.
Runs from 25th January to 22nd March.

She gave an inspirational talk about her experiences from the London games and the years leading up to it. Along with staff games makers Mr Crick and Miss Coe they gave an insightful account of the momentous summer that has just passed.

Mr Millar who hosted the talk said. “What a great opportunity for our students to hear first-hand what it was like to be involved in the greatest show on earth. Goldie certainly inspired our students and let’s hope the legacy of the games is fulfilled.”

This visit was a reward for Netherhall being awarded the School Games Bronze Kite Mark and it is a testament to continued dedication and hard work of the PE department.

The tournament will start on Monday 16th January. The competition will be Free to Enter on both the 16th and the 23rd January.  Teams must enter by 12 noon on the  Friday before the game.

The tournament will be on a round robin format, with only limited places. So please, please book early !  First come, First served.
